We have three versions of honey currently for our collections 🍯
Our first is personally our favorite local honey, the Lavender Whipped Honey. Don't think you're eating lavender, we promise it's taste like yummy honey :) Made with organic lavender extract, this light, floral version is dreamy on cheese and charcuterie boards, hearty, whole wheat breads and stirred into green teas.
Our second honey, is super popular which is the Tennessee Spring Honey. The spring harvest is always the most unpredictable. Depending on early spring rainfall and temperatures, the bees may forage, for example, lots of fruit trees and less blackberry and blueberry, or vice-versa. It's delicious with tea, especially green tea, and plays well with yogurt and goat cheese. It's also easy on the eyes, very light and pretty.
Our third is the Tennessee Snow Whipped Honey, also called "creamed honey" or "spun honey," our Tennessee Snow honey is pure honey that's been whipped to a spreadable texture. (We call it Tennessee Snow since it rarely snows in our neck of the woods — we have to make our own.) The color of the product changes a little, since it's whiter with a light honey, but the taste is always sweet and addictive. Use it on toast, biscuits or cinnamon rolls. This honey also can be stirred into hot drinks.
